I was Ph.D. supervisor of Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez
Jorge from 2009 to 2012. Ricardo Rodriguez Jorge
studied Control and Systems Engineering, and he investigated
deploying artificial neural networks for signal processing.
During his studies he was seriously involved in two topics:
a) Detection of cardiac arrhythmias by ECG signal analysis,
b) prediction of lung tumor motion. During his studies he
became very gifted and hardworking. Our contacts remained
very active. We have written a number of articles,
especially in the field of cardiac arrhythmia detection
using ECG signal analysis. Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez Jorge is, to my knowledge of his person, a very capable, ever-evolving and reliable scientist who has proven his organizational and marketing skills several times. I strongly recommend to be accepted. |

I have known Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez Jorge
since 2012 when I participated as a reviewer of his Doctoral
Dissertation that he defended on November 1, 2012. I was
impressed with Dr. Ricardo's eagerness to present his
analytical and writting skills in his research Ph.D.
dissertation. Dr. Ricardo's focused his study in lung tumor
motion prediction by neural networks also demonstrated his
remarkable capacity in writting, leadership, and
communication skills. In my oppinion, Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez Jorge has all the characteristics of a research professor - enthusiastic, hardworking, intelligent and well disciplined.
