Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez Jorge
was my Data Analysis and Visualization teacher. The course
focuses on presenting the information necessary for an
introductory and comprehensive data evaluation. Emphasis is
placed on acquiring the ability to imagine data in practical
ways. An integral part of the course is the practical
operation of theoretical knowledge on becoming data using
applicable software tools (R, Matlab). All the lessons were face-to-face during the whole semester and my teacher helped me a lot. The assignments he gave and the files he uploaded were helpful. I knew some of the basics beforehand, it was a nice and enjoyable period for me when I did the exercises right. I want to say "thank you for your kindness and understanding and support in all matters". |

While being on an Erasmus exchange
in Usti and Labem, I had the chance to learn from an expert
in the data mining field as Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez
Jorge. I was attending the course Data Mining
Techniques based on R Software in English where he was the
professor. Throughout the course, Professor Rodriguez showed a deep understanding of the subject and was great at explaining complex ideas in a simple way. He mixed up lectures, hands-on projects, and discussions to make the class interesting and to help us understand the material. On top of his teaching skills, Professor Rodriguez was very approachable and always there to give us extra help. He made sure to encourage us to ask questions, gave us helpful feedback on our assignments, and created a positive class environment. I really enjoyed the course and would love to attend another one or to collaborate with the professor in the future. |

Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez Jorge
was my teacher of the subject: Algorithms and Programming I,
in this lesson I learned the basics of Algorithms and
Programming and my teacher helped me too much
although the
lesson was face to face, Mr. Rodriguez spent his time
teaching me and we made every Thursday this lesson. I
already know some things,
when
I did the exercises correctly, we immediately moved on to
the next topic, so I did not get bored.

Dr. Ricardo Rodríguez Jorge
has been my thesis advisor. I have been working with him for
a year as his advised student. He has been explaining to me
topics that I did not know, to do my research project.
Dr. Ricardo has been very kind and patient
in teaching me difficult subjects, he even allowed me to
attend the master's classes that he has been teaching to
reinforce my knowledge. Dr. Ricardo, as a
thesis supervisor, has always been available to review my
thesis, open to different ideas, suggestions and analyzing
whether the changes are positive for the thesis or not. In general, it is nice to work with him. He is always willing to teach and help his advised students. |

Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez Jorge was my thesis
advisor for a year. Dr. Ricardo is extremely
kind, respectful, tolerant, responsible and very
intelligent. Thanks to him, I was able to finish my thesis
despite my difficult schedules for work and school. Due to
the complexity of my thesis, doubts always arose, but He was always available to explain
me again and again, until it became clear to me. He helped me find a thesis topic and develop it. Then, he also lent me material to be able to do tests, record data and thus be able to carry out my project without buying the material. I am very proud to say that my thesis was very interesting and difficult to analyze. It was a great project, which can be applied to predict and thus be able to save lives. I highly recommend Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez Jorge, for being an exemplary teacher with extremely extraordinary knowledge. |
